The exhibition is showing a selection of works linked to the subject of political, social and civil commitment.

Starting from the demolitions Fascist Regime made in Rome in the 1930s and captured by Mario Mafai’s and “Scuola Romana”’s paintings, through the chronicle of demonstrations in the square, evocated by Giulio Turcato’s rally, the exhibition leads us to the most recent thoughts when contemporary artists are developing a more disenchanted attitude towards social and political events.

List of the artists exhibited: Claudio Abate, Carla Accardi, Maurizio Cattelan, Ines Fontenla, Alfredo Jaar, Mimmo Jodice, Felice Levini, Mario Mafai, Fabio Mauri, Adrian Paci, Perino&Vele, Khalil Rabah, Michal Rovner, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Giulio Turcato, Nico Vascellari, Alberto Zanazzo.
