Exhibition realized to celebrate 60 years from the death of the great futurist artist Prampolini (Modena 1894 – Roma 1956).

More than 150 documents from Prampolini’s Archive will be exhibited after being donated from his heirs to Comune di Roma in 1992 and being kept in Centro Ricerca e Documentazione Arti Visive (CRDAV) del MACRO.

The archive keeps quite a big collection of documents regarding Prampolini’s various activity fields ranging from theatre to scenography, from theoretical thought to production of writings and posters, from participation to exhibitions and their organization to cultural promotion and organization, from working as a reviewer to teaching.

Exhibited as well a series of works, partially unreleased, made by Prampolini between mid-twenties and the first fifties of the last century: sketches, drawings, block notes with sketches, architectural and setting up projects speaking about Prampolini’s polyhedral language.
