This exhibition is the third stage of the expositive project called “From La Biennale di Venezia to Macro”; the creators are Paolo De Grandis and Claudio Crescentini. It consists of some international installations coming from Esposizione Internazionale d’arte- La Biennale di Venezia, recreated site- specific especially for Macro.

Yi Zhou's exhibition is shown for this third appointment. Yi Zhou is a Chinese artist who lives among Rome, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Los Angeles and he represents the new interdisciplinary, talented generation of artists.

He creates great multimedia installations in which he combines cinematography, digital animation, photography, sculpture, painting,drawing and compositions of contemporary music also with prestigious collaborations as the one with Ennio Morricone on the occasion  of his participation in the Biennale in 2011.

In the Macro hall Yi Zhou introduces a multimedia installation with 3D animation  with  literary and historical references to Rome and its ruins. The videos are projected on marble plates to recreate an interactive environment.
